This Shivlinga seems to be more than 1600 years old... Established before the arrival of Chol Empire.

This place was found by mistake in 1985, after that the #archaeology department has started #excavation... The excavation is still going on today. Remains found in this space reveal the existence of Hindu culture between 4th to 9th century.

विश्व का सबसे बड़ा युद्ध था महाभारत का कुरुक्षेत्र युद्ध। इतिहास में इतना भयंकर युद्ध केवल एक बार ही घटित हुआ था। अनुमान है कि महाभारत के कुरुक्षेत्र युद्ध में परमाणू हथियारों का उपयॊग भी किया गया था। ‘चक्र’ यानी ‘पहिया’ और ‘व्यूह’ यानी ‘गठन’। पहिए के जैसे घूमता हुआ व्यूह है चक्रव्यूह। कुरुक्षेत्र युद्ध का सबसे खतरनाक रण तंत्र था चक्रव्यूह। यधपि आज का आधुनिक जगत भी चक्रव्यूह जैसे रण तंत्र से अनभिज्ञ हैं। चक्रव्यू या पद्मव्यूह को बेधना असंभव था। द्वापरयुग में केवल सात लोग ही इसे बेधना जानते थे। भगवान कृष्ण के अलावा अर्जुन, भीष्म, द्रॊणाचार्य, कर्ण, अश्वत्थाम और प्रद्युम्न ही व्यूह को बेध सकते थे जानते हैं। अभिमन्यु केवल चक्रव्यूह के अंदर प्रवेश करना जानता था।

चक्रव्यूह में कुल सात परत होती थी। सबसे अंदरूनी परत में सबसे शौर्यवान सैनिक तैनात होते थे। यह परत इस प्रकार बनाये जाते थे कि बाहरी परत के सैनिकों से अंदर की परत के सैनिक शारीरिक और मानसिक रूप से ज्यादा बलशाली होते थे। *सबसे बाहरी परत में पैदल सैन्य के सैनिक तैनात हुआ करते थे। अंदरूनी परत में अस्र शत्र से सुसज्जित हाथियों की सेना हुआ करती थी।* चक्रव्यूह की रचना एक भूल भुलैय्या के जैसे हॊती थी जिसमें एक बार शत्रू फंस गया तो घन चक्कर बनकर रह जाता था।

चक्रव्यूह में हर परत की सेना घड़ी के कांटे के जैसे ही हर पल घूमता रहता था। इससे व्यूह के अंदर प्रवेश करने वाला व्यक्ति अंदर ही खॊ जाता और बाहर जाने का रास्ता भूल जाता था। महाभारत में व्यूह की रचना गुरु द्रॊणाचार्य ही करते थे। चक्रव्यूह को युग का सबसे सर्वेष्ठ सैन्य दलदल माना जाता था। इस व्यूह का गठन युधिष्टिर को बंधी बनाने के लिए ही किया गया था। माना जाता है कि 48×128 किलॊमीटर के क्षेत्र फल में कुरुक्षेत्र नामक जगह पर युद्ध हुआ था जिसमें भाग लेने वाले सैनिकों की संख्या 1.8 मिलियन था!

चक्रव्यूह को घुमता हुआ मौत का पहिया भी कहा जाता था। क्योंकि एक बार जो इस व्यूक के अंदर गया वह कभी बाहर नहीं आ सकता था। यह पृथ्वी की ही तरह अपने अकस में घूमता था साथ ही साथ हर परत भी परिक्रमा करती हुई घूमती थी। इसी कारण से बाहर जाने का द्वार हर वक्त अलग दिशा में बदल जाता था जो शत्रु को भ्रमित करता था। अद्भुत और अकल्पनीय युद्ध तंत्र था चक्रव्यूह। आज का आधुनिक जगत भी इतने उलझे हुए और असामान्य रण तंत्र को युद्ध में नहीं अपना सकता है।

आपको जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि संगीत या शंख के नाद के अनुसार ही चक्रव्यूह के सैनिक अपने स्थिती को बदल सकते थे। कॊई भी सेनापती या सैनिक अपनी मन मर्ज़ी से अपनी स्थिती को बदल नहीं सकता था। अद्भूत अकल्पनीय।

ज़रा सॊचिये कि सहस्र सहस्र वर्ष पूर्व चक्रव्यूह जैसे घातक युद्ध तकनीक को अपनाने वाले कितने बुद्धिवान रहें होंगे।

चक्रव्यूह ठीक उस आंधी की तरह था जो अपने मार्ग में आनेवाले हर एक चीज को तिनके की तरह उड़ाकर नष्ट कर देता था। अभिमन्यू व्यूह के भीतर प्रवेश करना तो जानता था लेकिन बाहर निकलना नहीं जानता था। इसी कारण वश कौरवों ने छल से अभिमन्यू की हत्या कर दी थी। माना जाता है कि चक्रव्यूह का गठन शत्रु सैन्य को मनोवैज्ञानिक और मानसिक रूप से इतना जर्जर बनाता था कि एक ही पल में हज़ारों शत्रु सैनिक प्राण त्याग देते थे। कृष्ण, अर्जुन, भीष्म, द्रॊणाचार्य, कर्ण, अश्वत्थाम और प्रद्युम्न के अलावा चक्रव्यूह से बाहर निकलने की रणनीति किसी के भी पास नहीं थी।

सदियों पूर्व ही इतने वैज्ञानिक रीति से अनुशासित रण नीती का गठन करना सामान्य विषय नहीं है। महाभारत के युद्ध में कुल तीन बार चक्रव्यूह का गठन किया था, जिनमें से एक में अभिमन्यू की म्रुत्यू हुई थी। केवल अर्जुन ने कृष्ण की कृपा से चक्रव्यूह को वेध कर जयद्रथ का वध किया था। हमें गर्व होना चाहिए कि हम उस देश के वासी है जिस देश में सदियों पूर्व के विज्ञान और तकनीक का अद्भुत निदर्शन देखने को मिलता है। निस्संदेह चक्रव्यूह न भूतो न भविष्यती युद्ध तकनीक था। न भूत काल में किसी ने देखा और ना भविष्य में कॊई इसे देख पायेगा।

जांबाज लोग, चीते और जयपुर...

यह फोटो जयपुर के एक आलीशान हॉटल की लॉबी में लगी हुई है... 

हाल ही जब मैं वहाँ गया तो इसे आपके लिए ले आया...

गौर से देखिए इसे... इसमें कुछ शिकारी लोग हैं जो इतने जांबाज थे कि चीते पालते थे... 

चीता भारत के जंगलों में अंतिम बार 1969 में देखा गया था, उसके बाद यह जीव भारत में कभी नहीं देखा गया...

यह अब अफ्रीका और लैटिन अमेरिका के जंगलों में पाया जाता है...चीता दुनिया का सबसे फुर्तीला और तेज दौड़ने व लपक वाला जीव होता है...

अभी कुछ 80-100 साल पहले तक जयपुर में कुछ शिकारी लोग इन्हें अपने घर पर पालते थे और खाट से बाँधकर रखते थे... उनका एक मोहल्ला (चीतावतान) भी था पुराने जयपुर में... जो आज भी मौजूद है...

वे स्थानीय राजाओं और अंग्रेज अफसरों के लिए जंगली जीवों का शिकार इनसे करवाते थे...शिकार मुख्यतः आधुनिक साँगानेर और विद्याधर नगर के बीच में होता था...या फ़िर नाहरगढ़-झालाना में...चीते उनके आदेश पर हिरण मारकर अपने मालिक को सौंप देते थे...

यह कला (कला ही थी यह) अफगानिस्तान और अफ्रीका से जयपुर पहुँची थी...अब ना कला है ना कलाकार...

हम अपनी विरासतों व परम्पराओं को किस तरह से खोते हैं यह इसकी मिसाल है...

आज राजस्थान सहित भारत में  चीतों को पुन: बसाने, अफ्रीका से चीते मँगवाने की कई योजनाएं बन चुकी हैं और बन रही हैं, जबकि कभी यहाँ चीते इतने सहज रूप से मौजूद थे... हमने उन्हें नष्ट किया और अब उनके संरक्षण की बातें हो रही हैं...

कुछ गौर उन लोगों पर भी कीजिये जो तस्वीर में दिख रहे हैं....

क्या दमखम, क्या छरहरी देह, क्या लपक और क्या फिजिकल फिटनेस रही होगी कि चीतों के साथ जंगलों में भाग-दौड़ कर लेते थे वे जाँबाज...आज के लोग एल्सेशियन, पोमेरियन के साथ पार्क में जोगिंग कर खुद को फिट समझ रहे हैं...

जंजीर से चीतों को बाँधने वाले लोग कैसे रहे होंगे क्या खानपान रहा होगा... क्या नस्ल होगी वो आदम की... 

क्या विश्वविद्यालयों को इन पर शोध नहीं करने चाहिए या वहाँ सदा टीपन्तरी और चौर्य कला से ही शोध (कॉपी पेस्ट) होते रहेंगे...क्या मेडिकल साइंस, हेरिटेज, वाइल्ड लाइफ वालों को इधर नहीं सोचना चाहिए...
